Condor, a leading company in the scaffolding, formwork, and trench shoring, presents its first Sustainability Report: a document outlining the company’s concrete commitment to increasingly responsible, safe, and innovative growth.
With nearly 35 years of experience, the company reaffirms its vision: safety as a driver of competitiveness and sustainability as a strategic lever for future development.
Condor’s commitment covers several areas:
Innovation and The Environment
Condor has launched an investment plan aimed at modernizing production facilities and reducing environmental impact.
Key initiatives include:
• The installation of photovoltaic systems at the Nusco and Conza factories, already operational, and the replacement of outdated neon lighting with LED technology, resulting in energy savings of up to 95%.
• The replacement of old machinery with 4.0 systems, process digitization, predictive maintenance, and remote monitoring.
• Investments in finishing systems based on eco-friendly materials.
• The use of new electric forklifts, marking the first step toward more efficient and sustainable internal material handling.
Sustainability is also reflected in efficient resource management: in 2024, waste from processed materials decreased dramatically and was reintroduced 100% into the production cycle through specialized partners, following a fully circular economy approach within the steel supply chain.
The company also considers Green Steel a key element of its strategy.
People Development and Engagement
For Condor, sustainability also means growing together with people.
The company fosters a safe, inclusive, and stimulating work environment, investing in continuous training and employee well-being. All staff regularly participate in safety refresher courses, underscoring the central importance of worker protection in a highly complex operational sector.
Since 2020, the number of women in the company has steadily increased at all levels of the organizational structure, including technical and managerial positions, reflecting our commitment to gender equality.
Support for the Community and Protection of the Territory
The company also supports numerous social and educational initiatives, collaborating with local universities and technical institutes, and backing projects, associations, and social causes.
Governance and Transparency
The company holds several certifications, including:
• ISO 9001 Quality Certification
• UNI EN ISO 3834 Quality Requirements for Fusion Welding of Metallic Materials
• Italian Legality Rating System
Condor is currently working toward obtaining the Gender Equality Certification (UNI/PdR 125:2022).
Future Objectives
With its new 2024–2028 Business Plan, Condor aims to strengthen its ESG strategy by introducing the measurement of indirect CO₂ emissions and defining an action plan to reduce them.
This is a concrete commitment to continue building responsibly, with full respect for people, the land, and the environment.
