Condor Presents Its First Sustainability Report

A commitment to responsibility and a strategic vision aimed at integrating sustainability into every aspect of our business development

In a sector like ours, talking about sustainability means building in a safer, more efficient, and more responsible way.
With our Sustainability Report, we aim to transparently describe how we are turning these principles into concrete actions, day by day.

For us, sustainability means environment, people, and governance—three pillars that guide our choices and define our corporate identity.

OUR COMMITMENT

ambiente

We reduce our environmental impact through concrete actions:

  • We generate clean energy with our photovoltaic systems.

  • We invest in Industry 4.0 machinery, process digitalization, predictive maintenance, and remote control.

  • We choose recyclable and certified raw materials from Green Steel.

  • We invest in finishing systems based on eco-friendly materials.

  • We have introduced electric forklifts to ensure more sustainable internal material handling.

PEOPLE = VALUE

persone

People are our greatest asset:

  • We support the community through growth and inclusion initiatives.

  • We support “I Bambini delle Fate” in projects dedicated to autism and disability.

  • We collaborate with schools and universities to train young people.

  • We promote employment and value local skills in all the territories where we operate.

TRANSPARENCY

governance

We believe in sustainability grounded in ethics and responsibility:

  • We promote transparency, fairness, and inclusion in every decision.

The company also holds several certifications, including:

  • ISO 9001 Quality Certification.

  • UNI EN ISO 3834 Quality Requirements for Fusion Welding of Metallic Materials.

  • Italian Legality Rating System.

A firm commitment to
continue building responsibly.

CIRCULAR ECONOMY:

For us, materials such as steel, aluminium, and wood are not waste, but assets. Production waste is carefully sorted and reintroduced into the production cycle as recycled materials, reducing the use of virgin raw materials and minimizing environmental impact.

In 2024, waste per processed ton decreased dramatically and was reintroduced 100% into the production cycle through specialized partners, following a fully circular economy approach in the steel supply chain.

ENERGY SAVINGS IN OUR FACTORIES:

In 2023, we combined plant modernization with new investments in energy efficiency. We renovated our Nusco and Conza factories, installed photovoltaic panels, and began replacing traditional lighting with LED lights, all managed by an automated system to optimize consumption and resource use.

The energy savings achieved through the use of LED systems are approximately 95% compared to incandescent bulbs, 85% compared to halogen lamps, and 60% compared to fluorescent bulbs.

RESOURCES:

For Condor, sustainability also means growing together with people. The company promotes a safe, inclusive, and stimulating work environment, investing in continuous training and the well-being of its employees.

Since 2020, the number of women in the company has steadily increased at all levels of the organizational structure, including in technical roles and management positions, reinforcing our commitment to gender equality.

Our Sustainability Report is not just an act of transparency; it represents a new direction for the future.
